The new giving system from NDI that delivers the power and popularity of mobile phone text-messaging for your fund raising efforts.

Donors text their pledge, consisting of an institutional keyword, their name and pledge amount to a pre-determined number. The pledge triggers an immediate, customized response to the donor and the system generates an email to the administrator with the donor’s name, phone number and pledge amount. Staff contact the donor to complete the process.

Text-to-Give is the alternative. While popular with large scale broad based appeals, it has limitations - no donor information is provided to the charity and donated amounts are predetermined in the range of $5.00 – $10.00, charged to the donor’s cell phone bill. The funds are not released to the charity until the phone bill is paid by the donor. This is great for mass consumer appeals but unsuitable for schools that wish to build long-term relationships with donors.

Compared to Text-to-Give, NDI Text//Pledge:
